Which materials are suitable?
Not all socks are equally suitable for embroidery. A sufficiently stable knit can be easier to work with than very thin, open or highly elastic material. Cotton blends, wool blends and performance materials are assessed on the actual model. Fibre content alone does not confirm suitability.
Embroidery position and size
Depending on the model, the visible leg of the sock may be suitable. Cuffs, seams, heels, toes and areas under heavy stretch may be unsuitable. Machine access and the back of the embroidery matter too. We only confirm a maximum design size after assessment.
Stretch and wearing comfort
Embroidery stretches differently from the knit. Large or dense designs can restrict movement and be felt against the skin. We assess design size, stitch density and position; unsuitable socks or designs may be declined.
